Air

I have been at my current job for just over a year, and this is easily the busiest week yet.

Go figure.

On top of having a tired body, I haven't gone to bed before three a.m. for the last few nights. I don't think that's part of the taper plan....

Despite it all, I have been feeling freakishly calm. About everything.

Excited, yes. But very calm, and very focused. Like I am just working myself through a checklist of daily tasks, one by one, and regularly re-creating my mental to-do lists.

One minor exception was driving home in Chicago downtown traffic during rush hour - I lost my shit for about 30 seconds, but who can blame me? Then it was right back to my mental lists.

Much to report, but I need to dig myself out from under these reports, my final workouts, and last minute prep to leave next week, and I will post for real.

And don't worry - I won't innundate you all with IM reflection or really any conversation about it all - I imagine you must be so sick of it.

At least until next week.

Thanks for checking in.

Tell me you didn't have the gun with you in the car. I can't keep cleaning up your messes. Make sure you throw in in the lake...

:-O The Cheese "in your faced" me! Shocked! Shocked and appauled!

*a few minutes of speechlessness*

lol @ arnie. That was gross.

Now, onto the substance. I'm not sick of ironwoman because my only dose of it comes from here. How else will I learn? I mean, ok, so I'm still not doing six hour bricks, but you've inspired several six minute bricks.

Ok, that's a lie.

One six minute brick.

Two weeks ago.

Followed by chocolate.

Covered in whipped cream.

Mmm...

What was I saying?

Yeah, take a break, you! I hope you're sleeping. Or at least getting a professional massage by a certified athletic therapist.

Yey for the countdown. :) How awesome to have made it so far. :)

I loooove hearing Ironman reflection and blah blah! It's what keeps me sane in this mental world!

GET SOME SLEEP!
